GARY 5.0 – Advancing access to Industry 5.0. competencies in VET
The rapid evolution of Industry 5.0 emphasizes the integration of advanced technologies with human-centric approaches, sustainability, and resilience. To meet these emerging demands, vocational education and training (VET) systems must adapt by equipping learners with the necessary entrepreneurial and innovation skills.
The GARY 5.0 project, funded by Erasmus+ (Project No. 2023-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000158236), aims to enhance the competencies of VET learners and educators by fostering an environment that promotes creativity, collaboration, and practical experience in line with Industry 5.0 principles.
The project also supports VET institutions, business incubators, regional development agencies, and SMEs in sectors such as aviation, automotive, ecotourism, food and beverage, and the wood industry, by providing tools and methodologies to implement Industry 5.0 concepts effectively.

The project will deliver three core outcomes:
- Industry 5.0 Benchmarking Tool for VET: A diagnostic tool designed to assess and guide VET institutions in aligning their programs with Industry 5.0 standards.
- Adaptive and Validated Open Educational Resources (OER): A suite of educational materials tailored to support the development of Industry 5.0 among VET learners.
- Industry 5.0 educational platform – An interactive platform offering access to training modules, resources, and collaborative projects to facilitate hands-on learning experiences.
Through these deliverables, GARY 5.0 seeks to create an inspiring and practical learning environment that empowers individuals to thrive in the evolving landscape of Industry 5.0.
