4equality – Supporting Young Women to Cope with Gender Bias in STEM and Business Careers

Gender bias continues to pose a major challenge for young women entering male-dominated sectors like STEM and business. These barriers often impact women’s confidence, career progression, and sense of belonging in professional environments.

The 4equality project, funded by Erasmus+ (2023-2-PL01-KA220-YOU-000178863), focuses on empowering young women to develop effective coping mechanisms to minimize the impact of gender bias and navigate professional challenges with confidence and resilience.

The project also equips youth workers and educators with the tools and knowledge needed to guide and support young women through this process, creating inclusive learning and mentoring environments.

The project will deliver two core outcomes:

  • A Women Development Program, Platform and e-mentor offering training, self-development, and self-assessment tools to help young women recognize, address, and cope with gender bias in their careers.,
  • A Youth Workers Toolkit, providing practical strategies and resources to support and empower young women entering male-dominated sectors.
